Volume I · MMXXVI About the Publication § 00

About
WORLD BEST 50.

An annual English-language global honor list. Fifty enterprises and fifty individuals, published together, once a year. Curated by editors, supported by data, and presented without embellishment.

§ 01 · Mission

Read the year, in one editorial.

The world has long had lists of the largest companies. It has had lists of the most powerful individuals. It has not had one publication that reads them together — where the institutions that shape a year and the people who shape those institutions are presented under the same editorial cover.

WORLD BEST 50 is designed to sit alongside Fortune Global 500, Forbes Most Powerful People, and Time 100: not to replicate them, but to answer the two questions those lists split apart — which enterprises defined the year, and who was behind them?

The publication is annual. The language of record is English. Additional language editions are planned as it scales.

§ 02 · Methodology

Two tiers. One editorial board. No public vote.

Tier I
International Giants

2
Tier II
Active Participation

Emerging market leaders, partner-introduced companies, and nominated founders, executives, and industry principals. Each candidate is put before an independent editorial board for review.
